The 2017-2018 year has been truly amazing. So many things have been accomplished. So many friendships have been made. So many compassionate acts of service have been given. It has been incredible. We hope you will join us in continuing to care for our wonderful neighborhood. This Wednesday, May 9, at 7pm at Scarborough High School, we have the opportunity to vote on members for the 2018-2019 civic club board. So far, the following people have accepted nominations: • President: Alyssa DeLeon • Vice President: Scott Lewis • Secretary: Evette Barbier • Treasurer: Robert Smith • Section I Reps (2 positions available): Angel Smith Jessi Heiner (although would prefer another volunteer - if you would like to give it a shot, please let us know!) • Section II Reps (2 positions available): Tara Tripi Vilma Venegas • Section III Reps (2 positions available): *volunteers still needed* The following committee chairs have also accepted the following nominations: • Park Committee: Ross Drescher • Off Duty HPD Patrol Committee: Jessi Heiner • Warm Welcome Committee: *volunteer still needed* • Esplanade Beautification Committee: *volunteer still needed* If you want to created or head up any committee, please email or message a board member and we’ll get you all set up! As always, refreshments will be served. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that volunteers their time to help keep our neighborhood the best little hidden gem in all of Houston.
