Based on the voting results, May 2011 Civic Club Meeting, and at the advice of Lawyers Ferrer and Tu hired by the Civic Club 2010-2011 Board, we have voted as a board to close the voting on the Deed Restrictions proposed in April 2011. We received overwhelming feedback from residents that while they are very excited about several elements of the proposed Deed Restrictions, there were parts they did not agree with or in favor of. As a result and under the advice of Ferrer and Tu, we will make revisions to the items of concern and present the Deed Restrictions on an item by item basis to the residents of Mangum Manor to vote on. We feel that this way, we will be able to meet a higher majority vote and the Deed Restrictions will better fit the needs of the community.

Mangum Manor deed restrictions are on file with Harris County. To obtain a copy, please contact the Harris County Clerk’s Office at (713) 755-6405 during business hours. If you wish, a copy may be obtained in person at the Harris County Clerk’s Office located downtown in the Harris County Civil Courthouse, 201 Caroline, 3rd Floor, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
