Mangum Manor is a civic club with voluntary annual dues of $25 per year per household.
There are no transfer fees.
Mangum Manor does have deed restrictions which may be viewed in the Deed Restrictions section of this website. Mangum Manor deed restrictions are also on file with Harris County. To obtain a copy, please contact the Harris County Clerk’s Office at (713) 755-6405 during business hours. If you wish, a copy may be obtained in person at the Harris County Clerk’s Office located downtown in the Harris County Civil Courthouse, 201 Caroline, 3rd Floor, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Mangum Manor is divided into three sections, which each have a distinct set of deed restrictions. The sections are delineated in the Maps section of this website.
Buyers, Builders, Developers, etc. are expected to follow the law with respect to City of Houston noise ordinances, construction codes, trash and refuse laws, etc.
Mangum Manor has opted in to the city ordinance which prohibits parking vehicles on yards.
Parking in a manner which blocks a sidewalk is prohibited by city ordinance.
Trash collection day is every Thursday and trash may be placed out no earlier than 6 PM the preceding day by city ordinance.
Mangum Manor was a pioneer in the City of Houston single-stream recycling program. Recylcing is collected the first and third Thursday of each month and may be placed out no earlier than 6 PM the preceding day by city ordinance. It is also against the law to remove items from a recycling container not your own.
Heavy Trash(Tree/Junk Waste) is the fourth Tuesday of each month and may be placed out no earlier than 6 PM the preceding Friday by city ordinance.
