DUE TO THE soggy, cold, wet weather today and this evening, the Movie in the Park scheduled for this evening is being POSTPONED to a later date. We will share the new date with you once it has been confirmed. ====================================================================== Join us this coming Wednesday, November 13 at 7 pm in Scarborough High School library for the November civic club meeting where we will have special guests from the Houston Parks Board: Deborah Rule, Director of Development and Mike Isermann, Deputy Director of Facilities and Management and Development. They will be able to deliver more insight on how their organization and department can assist with our Park Improvement Project! ====================================================================== HPD Patrol Program – Veteran’s Day Flags - Sunday, November 10 – Thursday, November 14th Thank you to everyone that has contributed to the HPD Off Duty HPD patrol program. We currently have HPD officers patrolling 4-8 hours per week. In observance of Veteran’s Day, every home that has contributed $30 or more towards the program will have a flag placed in their yard from November 10- 14 for Veteran’s Day. If you would like to purchase a flag to be displayed at Mangum Manor Park, please include $30 in your purchase via PayPal at mangummanorcrime@gmail.com or you may write a check. Volunteers will be needed to distribute flags throughout the neighborhood. If you are interested in volunteering in either the setup(Saturday 2pm) or the pickup(Thurs evening), **please** contact Jessi Heiner at j.h@aggiemail.usu.edu We need more Volunteers! 3 people and 2 dogs(1 smart, 1 not smart but cute) makes for a lot of work, we could sure use a few more hands(paws)! ====================================================================== Check out Mangum Manor Civic Club on Facebook!
